Though the temperatures may be dropping and the winter months are upon us, Crooker is still busy working away on construction projects. Earlier this month we started the new Cooks Corner Connector Road project, which will link Admiral Fitch Avenue of the Brunswick Landing to Gurnet Road/Route 24 in Brunswick. This project is a key piece to the continual redevelopment of the Brunswick Landing, as it will provide another means of access and allow for better traffic flow.
The two school projects are still cranking along as well. Morse High School is roughly halfway through the 400,000+ Cubic Yard Ledge cut and our crushing crews are busy making gravel, stone and general fill. The Mt. Ararat High School project is still moving along with crews focused on finishing the underslab utilities and interior footing preparation to ensure building construction can continue moving forward. Crews are also still working at the Highland Green development with new house lots and road improvements on the schedule.
We thank all our crews for the hard work during Maine’s cold winter months.
