Crooker was selected by Arthur C. Dudley Contractor for sitework at the new Mt. Ararat High School in Topsham, ME. Work began in Summer of 2018 and is expected to be completed in Summer of 2021. Many Crooker employees are proud Mt. Ararat graduates and are excited to be building the school which helped develop and grow them during their teenage years.
Crooker’s scope includes excavating for the new building foundation, parking lots, roadways, building demolition, building relocation, drainage, water, sewer, site electrical, and a turf field. Crooker has been working diligently this summer to complete the necessary work before school starting this fall.
Crooker spent the summer between late June and late August installing new sewer, water and drainage in the new Eagles Way, re-constructing the existing road, constructing new parking lots and sidewalks, and starting the process of Stormwater ponds.
Crooker finished the “phase 2C summer 2019 work” ahead of schedule, while also giving the school additional parking spots for students and teachers. The focus now includes additional parking lots around the new school facility, stormwater features, sidewalks, plazas, and general site earthwork.
